The Buffalo Bills are closing in on a playoff berth.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills took another big step of clinching a playoff berth on Saturday night. Sean McDermott’s crew picked up a last-second 22-21 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers to improve to 9-6 on the season.
According to NFL’s Next Gen Stats, the Bills chances to make the playoffs improved to 75% on Saturday night, with the club’s chances to win the AFC East remain alive at 32% following their win in Los Angeles.

With their win on Saturday night, the Bills currently hold the sixth seed in the AFC, which would see them traveling to Kansas City to face Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs in the Wild Card round. While facing Mahomes and co. certainly isn’t who you want to see in the first round, the Bills would be looking for revenge as the Bills’ season ended in Arrowhead in both the 2020 and 2021 seasons.
Buffalo Bills Up-and-Down 2023 Season
Following a disappointing loss to an Aaron Rodgers-less Jets team in week one, the Bills seemingly right the ship after rattling off three consecutive victories over the Raiders, Commanders, and a 48-20 drubbing of the Miami Dolphins. However, the Bills would lose five of their next eight contests, running their record to a mediocre 6-6 with just over a month to go in the season. Despite, according to many, the world falling down around them, Josh Allen and co. are winners of three-straight after Saturday night, including wins over the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys before tonight’s win over the Chargers.
