The Buffalo Bills took former South Carolina Gamecocks star defensive tackle TJ Sanders in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft as the class’ 41st selection overall.
It remains to be seen how good Sanders will be in the pros and whether he will live up to the hype that comes along with being a pick in the first two rounds of the draft. But one thing that seems to be sure about Sanders is that he loves his mom.
In a video posted by the NFL’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, Sanders was seen making sure that he gets his mom food first before himself.
“raised the right way ❤️,” the caption of the video read.

Sanders played four years of college football with South Carolina, turning heads with his play, especially in his final two seasons with the Gamecocks. From 2023 to 2024, Sanders amassed 8.5 of his total 9.5 sacks in college and also recorded 93 combined tackles in those two seasons.
He has the potential to help the Bills’ defense that was not particularly great in 2024 when Buffalo finished 12th in the league with 21.6 points allowed per game and 20th with just a 6.46 percent defensive sack rate.
