Less than a year ago, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen saw multiple quarterback around the NFL sign record-breaking and market-setting contracts that saw him slip further and further down the list of the highest-paid players at his position. Notably, Dallas Cowboys star Dak Prescott signed the league’s first ever $60 million per year contract. Jordan Love of the Green Bay Packers signed a deal that gives him $55 million annually, but also included an NFL record $75 million due at signing.
And instead of complaining about his own current contract that already paid him $43 million a year, all Allen did was go out and win the NFL MVP Award.
This past season, he completed 63.6% of his passes for 3,731 yards, 28 touchdowns, six interceptions, and a 101.4 passer rating. In addition, he rushed for 531 yards and 12 additional touchdowns.
And Buffalo wasted no time in remind him and the rest of the league that he is the heart and soul of their team.
Josh Allen Signs Massive $330 Million Extension with the Buffalo Bills

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Allen and the Bills have agreed on a six-year $330 million contract extension despite the fact that he already has four years left on his current deal.
In other words, Buffalo plans on having Allen around for the next decade:
A new NFL mark: the Bills and Josh Allen reached agreement on a new record-setting six-year, $330 million contract that includes $250 million guaranteed, the largest guarantee ever given to an NFL player, sources tell ESPN.

As one can note from Schefter’s post, the $250 million in guaranteed money is the highest in NFL history, shattering the previous high of $231 million that was guaranteed to Prescott by the Cowboys.
The $55 million average annual salary during the six-year extension would currently rank second in the NFL behind Prescott’s $60 million and tie him with Love, Joe Burrow, and Trevor Lawrence.
