Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills is seen as an inspiration around most of the NFL. This is because, just over a year ago, Hamlin collapsed on the field in the middle of a game and nearly died. However, with this type of event, there are conspiracy theorists who have made something of this.
Now, former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown appears to be one of those people. Earlier this morning, Brown posted a tweet giving credibility to one notable conspiracy theory about Hamlin. Now, Hamlin has a response to this.
Buffalo Bills S Damar Hamlin Has Strong Response
Hamlin posted a tweet of his own calling Antonio Brown out for his recent tweet. Here is what Hamlin had to say:
“You just DM me on Monday? guess you playing lame games on twitter with my situation because I ain’t DM you back. I pray God don’t ever let me turn into a burnt out old head like you.. I used to look up to you damn near shit sad frfr. Talk bout a clone bring the real AB back!”
-Damar Hamlin
He also posted an additional response to follow that up. Here is that response:
“Been in my DM over a year talking to yourself. You was supposed to be an example setter. Now you the biggest weirdo we know! Get off twitter & go do some work with some kids or something. #PrayForAB”
-Damar Hamlin
Original Conspiracy Theory
The original NFL conspiracy theory behind this is admittedly disturbing. A select group of people believed Hamlin died on the field when he collapsed. However, these people pinpoint it to the COVID vaccine and believe the current Damar Hamlin is a body double. It is easy to understand why Hamlin would get insulted and hurt by what Brown’s social media page was insinuating.
