Former Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown is known for being a troll on social media. As a result, he can be the perfect fuel to light a fire at times when others would prefer something to be put to rest. However, this is probably one of those times where it is better if the latter happened.
What did Antonio Brown post now? Truthfully, he is bringing back up a disturbing NFL conspiracy theory. Read below to find out more.
Antonio Brown Posts About Damar Hamlin
This morning, Brown posted a tweet somewhat involving Damar Hamlin. He quoted a tweet that asked people to mention a “fictional character’s death” that they have not gotten over. This is where things got interesting with Brown.
In response to this, he posted a picture of Buffalo Bills S Damar Hamlin. Of course, he also captioned the picture with his infamous #CTESPN hashtag. So, why is this relevant?
Old NFL Conspiracy Theory
Any fan of the NFL knows the name Damar Hamlin. That is because he is the player who nearly died on national television near the end of the 2022-23 NFL season against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hamlin collapsed on the field after a brutal hit and had to be attended to by several first responders. Ultimately, these people may have saved Hamlin’s life.
However, this is not what everyone believes. At least for a time, some people believed that Hamlin actually did die on the field and the NFL covered it up. Somehow, these people related his collapse on the field to the COVID vaccine. Part of the theory is there is a body double representing Hamlin following the collapse.
What makes this even crazier is that this would have to be going on for quite some time. Hamlin was on the Bills’ roster throughout the 2023-24 NFL season.
Fans React
Of course, some fans had some interesting responses to this tweet. Here are some of the most notable comments:
“AB it’s 9:45 in da morning bro”
“This will go viral”
“Naw THIS NOT FUNNY”
“AB, c’mon man… this young man grew up in Pittsburgh and probably idolized you.”
“AB on a run #CTESPN”
“Who needs coffee when there’s posts like this”
“The person AB hired to run his Twitter account is doing a great job. The questions is… will AB end up not paying him?”
