Paige Bueckers’s success has spread across the country, and the Minnesota Vikings were happy to react to UConn’s tremendous victory. After winning the championship in their final year, Bueckers had the best NCAA season and topped it all. The future WNBA star will be on her way to play along with other stars like Caitlin Clark and A’ja Wilson.
Bueckers dreamed of winning the championship before she left the Huskies squad. In her final year, she achieved her dream. The Vikings have supported Bueckers for her excellent performance.
It might surprise many for an NFL team to support UConn. However, Bueckers is not new to Minnesota as she grew up there before joining UConn. Moreover, Bueckers is a fan of the Minnesota Vikings franchise. After her success, the team took to their official social media account to post an image of a young Bueckers wearing the Vikings uniform with a helmet in her hand.
The team captioned the image “Buckets,” with a trophy emoji and a purple and yellow heart.

Aaron Rodgers Shows Interest In Joining The Minnesota Vikings
Trade rumors continue to swirl alongside free agent Aaron Rodgers. Despite the Pittsburgh Steelers showing significant interest in the star, Rodgers is keen on joining Minnesota. The quarterback is a fan of the team’s offense, and he would love to be a part of the Vikings squad.

Rodgers had a better chance of joining the Steelers due to his relationship with Mike Tomlin. However, that is slipping away as the QB is turning toward the NFC North. Rodgers has been fond of head coach Kevin O’Connell. He previously mentioned that he has huge admiration and respect for Connell.

Rodgers also has huge respect for Tomlin, but he’s clearly siding with the Vikings.
“I’ve always respected Mike Tomlin from afar, but Minnesota Vikings are built different,” Aaron Rodgers said.

Despite Rodgers’ interest in joining the Vikings, he’s going to have a challenge. The Vikings have drafted QB JJ McCarthy, and that will be a hurdle he has to overcome. On the other hand, the Pittsburgh Steelers could move away from Rodgers if he continues to show no interest. The QB wants to have a great run before he calls it a day in the NFL. At 41, it’s hard to tell if Rodgers will continue for more than two seasons.
