“It Will Fuel A Playoff Run” Broncos Get Massive Report On Electric Weapon

The Denver Broncos surprisingly find themselves sitting at 5-3 through their first eight games and squarely in the AFC playoff conversation.  This week they’ll travel out east to take on the Baltimore Ravens (also 5-3).

Rookie quarterback Bo Nix has been a welcome addition to the offense this year and has provided a spark they desperately needed.

However, there could be another weapon on the way.

It has been widely reported that star running back Travis Etienne Jr. could be traded before the Nov. 5 trade deadline since the Jaguars are well out of the playoff race:

The Jaguars already picked up the fifth-year option on Travis Etienne’s rookie deal, keeping him signed through the 2026 season. That only enhances his trade value, since the team acquiring Etienne would have him for two potential playoff runs instead of one.

The emergence of 2023 second-round pick Tank Bigsby (493 rushing yards and four touchdowns in eight games) only adds to the case that Jacksonville would be better off trading Etienne.

A two-time 1,000-yard rusher like Travis Etienne should have considerable interest on the trade market. But most NFL playoff contenders already have an established RB1, meaning one club especially stands out as a landing spot for Etienne.

That team would be Sean Payton’s Denver Broncos, who are 5-3 heading into Sunday’s clash with the Baltimore Ravens. Incredibly, Denver hasn’t had a 1,000-yard rusher or receiver since 2019.
