The Bengals announced terrible news for Sunday.
The Cincinnati Bengals announced a couple of players were ruled out for Sunday’s AFC Championship Game. The Bengals came into the week with a couple of offensive linemen “day-to-day” with injuries. The Bengals hoped they could be at full strength before they played the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium Sunday.
According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, the Bengals have ruled out offensive linemen Jonah Williams and Alex Cappa for the AFC Championship Game.

That’s a significant blow for the Bengals’ offense. The offensive line held up well in snowy conditions in Buffalo last week. The snow can be a deterrent for a pass rush. The Bengals’ offensive line will have a harsher challenge against the Chiefs Sunday than they had against the Bills.
The Bengals won’t be the only team affected by injuries. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes plans to play with a high-ankle sprain Sunday. He looked so-so in warm-ups for practice Thursday.
