Zac Taylor updates key Bengals injuries
Zac Taylor held a press conference Monday to talk about the upcoming week for the Cincinnati Bengals. Taylor had injury updates for two key starters on the offensive line for Sunday. The Bengals will travel to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game. The Bengals have won three straight against the Chiefs.
The Bengals ruled out Jonah Williams (knee) and Alex Cappa (ankle) before their Divisional Round game against the Buffalo Bills. They were considered week-to-week as of last Monday. The Offensive line held up well against the Bills Sunday without the pair, as the Bengals cruised to a 27-10 win in a snowy and blustery Buffalo.
According to Paul Dehner Jr. with The Athletic, Zac Taylor said on Monday that Cappa and Williams were improving from last week. However, it’s still unclear whether they can play in the Sunday AFC Championship game.

The Bengals aren’t the only team coming into championship weekend with important injury questions. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid provided a cloudy injury update for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Jacksonville Jaguars Saturday. Reid said they expect Mahomes to play against the Bengals, but he could miss practice this week.
