Two of the Seattle Seahawks’ emerging young talent at the skill positions, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and running back Kenneth Walker, have news that sheds light onto their potential injury status for Week 10:

Kenneth Walker III (chest) doesn’t practice Wednesday.

What This Means For the Seattle Seahawks

After the Seahawks’ demoralizing thumping at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens last Sunday, it seems that they would breathe a sigh of relief to have a week to lick their wounds and re-ground themselves ahead of a bout against the struggling Los Angeles Rams.

However, to make matters worse, the potential for short-term layoffs for two key, rising players at their respective positions will certainly be worrying for the playoff-contending Seahawks. Kenneth Walker has 572 rushing yards this season, whilst Jaxon Smith-Njiba has racked up 273 yards receiving.

Regardless, this will not have a huge impact for this week, but it could well have a major effect on the Seattle Seahawks’ season going forward.
