Bill O’Brien has head coach experience
O’Brien has been a head coach at the NFL level for the Houston Texans from the 2014-2020 seasons. He also has experience as a head coach at the college level, when O’Brien led the Penn State program for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
O’Brien earned a 15-9 record during his two seasons at Penn State. He had an overall 52-48 record as the head coach of the Texans.
The Eagles job came open late in the coaching carousel this year. Former head coach Jeff Hafley left the BC program to take the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator position last week.
