When the North Carolina Tar Heels hired six-time Super Bowl Champion Bill Belichick to be the head coach of their football program, they believed they were getting the no-nonsense approach to building a team that made him famous and success with the New England Patriots.
And while the Tar Heels will not know what effects Belichick’s hiring will have until they actually play a game, many wonder if North Carolina got much more than they bargained for, and not in a good way.
Of course, this is because of the constant stream of controversies that have surrounded the legendary head coach and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, the so-called head of Belichick Media.
Many Fans and Analysts Wonder if Jordon Hudson Is Influencing Bill Belichick Decisions Regarding the North Carolina Football Program

Indeed, there have been many instances so far this offseason that have left people concerned and scratching their heads regarding Belichick, Hudson, and their relationship. And while she has every right to represent and speak for the 73-year-old head coach in ventures outside of his duties at Chapel Hill, the problem is that it has previously appeared that she may be meddling.
When Belichick was first hired by North Carolina, he instructed that any emails that were sent to him should also be forwarded to Hudson. The big problem with this request, of course, is that she does not work for the university.
Additionally, Hudson reportedly cost the Tar Heels the opportunity to be featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks.” Apparently, the network was in talks with North Carolina about filming them for a college version of the show that has become so popular among NFL fans.
However, the pulled the plug on the Tar Heels’ involvement after Hudson insisted on being heavily involved in its production.
With his 24-year-old girlfriend running so many facets of his life outside of North Carolina, many have wondered if she may secretly be influencing how he runs the Tar Heels.
Bill Belichick Makes It Clear that Jordon Hudson Does Not Work for North Carolina

According to a report by Awful Announcing, Belichick had a very strong answer to a question regarding Hudson’s possible employment at Chapel Hill.
“No, she doesn’t have any role in the UNC football program, but, again, there’s been noise out there about a lot of different things,” Belichick said. “Again, our focus is day to day, getting better, and stacking good days together. Having good rest, recovery, and training. Moving forward the next day.”
As one can see, Belichick is pretty adamant about the fact that Hudson does not work for him in respect to the Tar Heels football program. Instead, she represents him and looks out for his best interests in his pursuits off the field.
Regardless, she has put him and the program in a bad light. The Tar Heels will need a strong season in Belichick’s first year in order for fans to be comfortable with him sticking around.
