Week four of college football is here and there are a number of fun matchups set for this Saturday. The Big Ten still has seven teams who remain undefeated. Although many schools have already proven themselves, there are a few matchups this weekend that are must watch games.
Indiana at Cincinnati
The 3-0 Indiana Hoosiers head to Cincinnati to play the 2-1 Bearcats. Indiana has yet to lose a game but remains unranked in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll. Cincinnati began its season ranked at 23. Indiana winning this game can give them a slight chance at being ranked and can keep them competitive in the Big Ten.

Despite having an undefeated record, it has not been an easy ride for the Hoosiers. Only one win was by more than three points, and that was at home against Idaho. If Indiana wants to win this game, they must score early, and their defense needs to make stops. These constant slight wins make this one of must watch games this weekend. Indiana has to be sure that they can win by more than just three points.
Iowa at Rutgers
The 2-1 Iowa Hawkeyes head to New Jersey to face the 3-0 Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Neither team is ranked on the AP Top 25 Poll, but both teams are in the Big Ten. This is Rutgers’ chance to show they are competitive. The Scarlet Knights only just beat Temple University last week with a score of 16-14. With that close call, they are still not seen by many as a competitive team. In addition to the tight wins, Rutgers also does not yet know who their starting quarterback will be. Quarterback Gavin Wimsatt went down in the first half of the game against Temple and did not return. If Rutgers comes out with a win against Iowa, there is a good chance people will talk about them differently.

On the other side, Iowa is looking to go to Rutgers’ home stadium and make a statement. The Hawkeyes were made fun of in their week one matchup against South Dakota State, where they only won by four points, scoring no touchdowns. Despite still having a winning record, the Hawkeyes are looking to prove that they can still be a competitive team. This matchup is a must watch game, with two Big Ten teams looking to prove themselves and get a 1-0 conference record.
Minnesota at Michigan State
The 3-0 Minnesota Golden Gophers head to Michigan State to face the 2-1 Spartans. Despite being undefeated, Minnesota is only a 2.5-point favorite for this game. Both teams are unranked but if Minnesota wins with a decent score difference, there is a small chance they can make it. Both teams are also a part of the Big Ten conference. This makes getting a win more important. Both teams have a 0-0 conference record and want to change that to 1-0. Tension will be high for both teams, making this one of the must watch games.

Michigan State needs this win as well in order to keep a winning record. The Spartans’ one loss was to the Washinton Huskies, who are ranked 18. Currently at a 2-1 record, losing to a Big 10 opponent would drop Michigan States’ chance at making the Top 25 Poll this season.
