Ronnie Stanley recently agreed to a new contract to stay in Baltimore for the 2024 season, Stanley was slated to count $26.2 million against the cap in the coming season and was previously due to make $15 million in 2024. The contract extension he signed in 2020.

Now more details have surfaced about Ronnie Stanley’s new contract with the Baltimore Ravens per Brian McFarland of the http://RussellStreetReport.com.

“Ronnie Stanley’s revised deal now includes a 2024 salary of $3M (down from $11M). Don’t know yet about bonus/incentives. BUT revised deal has removed his 2025 salary & replaced it w/ a void yr. So, Stanley will be a (non-compensable) FA in 2025”

“OK, Stanley’s revised deal now includes a base salary of $3M, a roster bonus of $1M and $500K in per game roster bonus (only paid if he plays). Deal also includes $10M in NLTBE incentives. His 2024 Cap number is now $17,050,603 – a reduction of $9,617,647”

“Deal also includes a $3M signing bonus. So, Stanley’s $15M in cash due in 2024 has been reduced in half to $7.5M”

Ronnie Stanley took a massive pay cut to stay in Baltimore, losing a guaranteed year of his contract to help the Ravens open up cap space and contend in 2024.

Stanley’s cap hit is still second on the team for Offensive Players.

At the time of the deal in 2020, The Ravens and star LT Ronnie Stanley agreed on a 5-year extension worth $112,866,000 max total value, source said. He gets $70,866,000 in total guarantees.

Many People thought Ronnie was a potential cut candidate.

This move by the Ravens very much so increases the chances of Stanley getting an extention in Baltimore past the 2024 season, with him significantly helping the team by opening cap space, and having to pay him less overall as well, a win for the Ravens and a smart move by Stanley.

Ronnie Stanley was a 2019 All-Pro and Pro Bowl Selection for the AFC.
