The Baltimore Ravens have had issues with injuries all year. However, they were starting to get a lot of their team back and it was leading to some great performances on the field. The fan base held their breath when star cornerback Marlon Humphrey went down with a non-contact injury in week 10. According to reports, he has avoided major injury.
#Ravens Pro Bowl CB Marlon Humphrey suffered a lower calf strain, source said, not an Achilles strain — and that's good news. He's considered day-to-day… though they play Thursday and his status is up in the air for that. Quick turnaround.

Baltimore Ravens Marlon Humphrey Avoids Major Injury
Many feared an Achilles injury when they saw the footage of the play he was injured in. The good news is that it is not an Achilles but a lower calf strain. He is considered day-to-day. While that puts him in jeopardy for the big Thursday night matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, he shouldn’t be done for the whole season. This is huge for the Ravens who do not have much depth and corner. Humphrey is the clear number one and they need him to cover the gauntlet of receivers they will see in the AFC.
Playing Well Despite The Loss
The loss on Sunday was not great. It was a game the Ravens should have won but the Browns are a tough team to put away. However, the Ravens should still be happy with where they sit in the AFC. They are at 7-3 and in contention for the number one overall seed. What should concern them is how good their division is. Every single team from this division could end up making the playoffs meaning that the end of the season will be full of tough matchups.
The Baltimore Ravens would love to capture the division crown and have a home playoff game. They will have to do it without Marlon Humphrey for a little while but have to be happy they didn’t lose him for the season.
