Auburn football will not go bowling in 2024. On Saturday, Auburn suffered their seventh loss of the regular season, falling on the road against rival Alabama, 28-14. For the fourth consecutive season, the Auburn Tigers will finish the season with seven losses, their longest streak of consecutive losing years since the late 1940s. The last two losing campaigns have come under the guidance of current head coach Hugh Freeze, while his predecessor, Bryan Harsin, also failed to post a winning season during his short two-year tenure.
Although Harsin played a not-so-glorifying role in Auburn football’s recent downturn in production, he still has harsh feelings towards the program that fired him after launching an investigation into his coaching woes. On Monday, following Auburn’s brutal loss against Alabama, Harsin posted a photo on social media, with the reflection from a window showing the former frontman wearing Roll Tide apparel. Fans quickly jumped to Twitter, bashing the Tigers and the program’s current state.
Former Auburn Football Gets Rise From Fans
According to On3 via Twitter:
Former Auburn coach Bryan Harsin posted a photo wearing a LANK t-shirt in the reflection of his window.
No love is lost between Auburn football and their former head coach, Bryan Harsin. On Monday, Harsin cultivated a stir on social media, posting a picture of him wearing a “LANK” shirt, an apparel brand made by Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe. Last weekend, Alabama beat Auburn in the Iron Bowl, 28-14.
Harsin coached Auburn from 2021 to midway through the 2022 season, posting a 9-12 record. His short-lived career with the Auburn Tigers was scrutinized for the program’s lackluster recruiting results and a mass exodus of players following his first season. Among those who transferred was the future Heisman Trophy Award runner-up quarterback Bo Nix, currently the starting signal-caller of the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Nevertheless, fans quickly jumped on Harsin for his bitterness toward the program, while others congratulated him for “elite-level” trolling:
Elite trolling, he should donate to our NIL collective as well with his Auburn buyout

Your commitment to buy a shirt off the internet to troll Auburn is more commitment than you showed at Auburn. 0-1 mentality.

Troll game is stronger than your coaching game.
