The Alabama Crimson Tide will have several players being drafted in the 2025 NFL Draft. Alabama over the years has had a lot of talented players be drafted into the NFL.

The Crimson Tide in the past have had quarterbacks like Mac Jones, Tua Tagovailoa, Jalen Hurts, A.J. McCarron, and more. One quarterback that will be in the 2025 NFL Draft is Crimson Tide star Jalen Milroe. Many are wondering where Milroe will wind up being selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Bleacher Report Thinks That Alabama Crimson Tide Quarterback Jalen Milroe Could Be Steal Of the Draft

Mar 19, 2025; Tuscaloosa AL, USA; Quarterback Jalen Milroe throws for scouts at the University of Alabama Pro Day as several Crimson Tide players worked out for NFL teams in the Hank Crisp Indoor Practice Facility.

It is not a secret that Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders, and Jaxson Dart will be the first three quarterbacks off the board in the 2025 NFL Draft. After that, Milroe could be the next quarterback off the board ahead of Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers.

Brent Sobleski of bleacherreport.com created a list of 10 potential players who could be draft steals in the 2025 NFL Draft. At the quarterback position, Sobleski has Milroe listed as his draft steal. He said,

“Too many will look at Jalen Milroe‘s skill set and assume he’s a strict boom-or-bust-type of prospect. Yet Milroe’s natural athleticism and big arm automatically give him a relatively high floor.

No one will deny that Milroe must show drastic improvement with his footwork and ball placement to eventually become a NFL starter. At the same time, an organization committing to him automatically knows he’s a weapon in the backfield because of how he can affect a game as a runner.

With a 4.40-second 40-yard dash, Milroe will enter the professional ranks as one of, if not the fastest quarterback (Lamar Jackson never ran before the 2018 draft). He’s a threat from Day 1, as long as his new team is committed to using him in such a manner.

The 22-year-old is also known for his hard work and leadership qualities. The reigning William V. Campbell Trophy winner (academic Heisman) will put in the work to improve. How much will he do so as a passer remains the question.”

Milroe during the 2024 college football season completed 64.3% of his passes for 2,844 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also rushed for 726 yards on 168 carries and 20 touchdowns, along with averaging 4.3 yards per carry. Milroe is 6’2″ and weighs 225 lbs.

It would be a major surprise if he was drafted in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. It wouldn’t be a surprise if the former Crimson Tide quarterback was drafted by the Las Vegas Raiders or the Pittsburgh Steelers in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He will need some time to sit and develop. Milroe is not ready to be a starter right away in the NFL.
