A video of New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ commentary on the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the 1980s went viral Tuesday. Rodgers, a known skeptic of Big Pharma, claimed the U.S. Government colluded with private enterprise.
New York Jets QB is a vaccine skeptic
Rodgers became outspoken about his stance on vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic after it was found that he misled reporters about being “immunized” against the virus. Rodgers’ beef with former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci came before the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aaron Rodgers made a bizarre claim about the HIV/AIDS epidemic
In an interview on Look Into It Podcast, Rodgers said the U.S. Government helped create the HIV/AIDS epidemic in order to research new drugs. He said the epidemic was a “blueprint” for how the government would operate during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Per the transcript of Rodgers’ comments via The Daily Mail:
‘Create a pandemic, with a virus that’s going wild,’ he continued. ‘Fauci was given over $350 million to research this, to come up with drugs, new or repurposed to handle the AIDS pandemic. And all they came up with was AZT,’ Rodgers continued.
‘And if you do even a smidge of research — and I know, I’m not an epidemiologist, I’m not a doctor, I’m not an immunologist, whatever – I can read, though. And I can learn and look things up just like any normal person. I can do my own research, which is so vilified, to even question authority.’
Rodgers tied the HIV/AIDS epidemic with the COVID-19 pandemic. Rodgers said the blueprint of the government is to create one long-term solution:
‘But that was the game plan back then: create an environment where only one thing works. Back then, AZT. Now? Remdesivir,’ Rodgers continued, referencing an antiviral medication created in the wake of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

NFL fans react to Rodgers’ conspiracy theory
Rodgers didn’t bring much evidence to back up his claim. After all, listeners of the podcast he was on should look into it for themselves before they take the word of a man who was on a shortlist to be a candidate for Vice President.
Rodgers’ comments went viral on Tuesday after Dov Kleiman posted a clip of the podcast on X. Here are the best reactions to Rodgers claiming the U.S. Government created a “blueprint” during the AIDS/HIV epidemic.

I believe it,
If the military industrial complex keeps finding both sides of the war for profit
Then they must be doing other things as well.
If the government is protecting those on the Epstein list.
Then they must be doing other things as well.
If the government gets… pic.twitter.com/ILg7uGiHdS
