On the Fox Big Noon Kickoff Show, Bruce Feldman named five head coaches to watch out for in the Texas A&M coaching search. The Aggies leadership fired Jimbo Fisher after their win over Mississippi State a couple of weeks ago and are currently weighing options and putting together pitches for their potential targets.

Texas A&M Aggies Coaching Candidates
Lance Leipold
Leipold has completely turned the Kansas football program around. From a perennial laughing stock and basement dweller in the Big 12, Kansas has continuously improved under Leipold. From 2-10 in his first season in Lawrence to 5-7 in year two, the Jayhawks are currently 7-4 and enjoying their most success since Mark Mangino was their head coach.
Mike Elko
Another head coach of a perennial basement dweller, Mike Elko has been outstanding with the Duke Blue Devils. Duke experienced some success under former head coach David Cutcliffe. Still, Elko has brought the Blue Devils into the national spotlight, defeating Clemson earlier this season and entering into the Top 25 at times during his time in Durham.
Chris Klieman
Formerly of North Dakota State, where he won a national championship, Klieman has been a massive success at Kansas State. Last season, he led the Wildcats to the Big 12 Championship Game and is currently 8-3 with a #19 national ranking.
Mark Stoops
Mark Stoops is the winningest football coach in Kentucky program history. Prior to Stoops’ arrival in Lexington, the Wildcats were a struggling program with minimal expectations from their fanbase. Now, Kentucky goes to bowl games every season and has even been in the Top 25 on occasion.
Ryan Day
The absolute shocker of the group is Ryan Day. According to Bruce Feldman, Day and Ohio State could look to mutually move on if the Buckeyes were to lose to Michigan for a third straight season. Texas A&M has a ton of resources to offer and could be a very attractive location for a big-name coach like Ryan Day.
