Today we take a look at the pass-catchers in Fantasy Football as we dive deep into the wide receiver position. Cooper Kupp won many fantasy managers their fantasy title a season ago. Can any receiver challenge him for the top spot? Find out today!
TIER ONE:
Cooper Kupp- Los Angeles Rams
I expect some regression for Cooper Kupp in 2022 after a historic 2021 season. Even so, Cooper Kupp deserves the designation as the top receiver in fantasy for at least one more season.
Justin Jefferson- Minnesota Vikings
If any receiver in the league can challenge Cooper Kupp for the top spot, it is Justin Jefferson. Jefferson will undoubtedly be the focal point of the Viking’s passing game, which should see an uptick in volume with the new coaching staff.
Ja’Marr Chase- Cincinnati Bengals
Ja’Marr Chase is a big-play threat waiting to happen. Chase may not offer the consistency of a Kupp or a Jefferson, but his sky-high ceiling belongs in the top tier.
TIER TWO:
Stefon Diggs- Buffalo Bills
Stefon Diggs deserves to be the headliner of the second tier. Diggs is tied to the most explosive offense and quarterback in the league. Drafting Stefon Diggs feels very safe.
Davante Adams- Las Vegas Raiders
Moving from Green Bay to Las Vegas could hamper Davante Adams’ fantasy numbers. Adams offers a safe floor in the early 2nd round range.
CeeDee Lamb- Dallas Cowboys
CeeDee Lamb enters the premier pass-catching role for the Dallas Cowboys. With Amari Cooper traded to Cleveland, CeeDee Lamb can step up as a top-five fantasy wide receiver.
Deebo Samuel- San Francisco 49ers
The change at the quarterback position from Jimmy Garoppolo to Trey Lance provides some pause for fantasy managers. We know the 49ers will feature Deebo Samuel as a receiver and runner.
Mike Evans- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Mike Evans isn’t flashy, but he offers as safe of a ‘floor’ as any receiver in Fantasy Football. With Rob Gronkowski retired, and Chris Godwin out with an injury, expect Tom Brady to lean on Mike Evans heavily in the first half of the season.
TIER THREE:
Tee Higgins- Cincinnati Bengals
Some fantasy managers will undervalue Tee Higgins since he is the second banana to Ja’Marr Chase in Cincinnati. Tee Higgins is a safe draft pick in the 3rd round of your fantasy drafts.
A.J. Brown- Philadelphia Eagles
A.J. Brown traded from the Titans to the Eagles was one of the most shocking NFL Draft moments in recent memory. There is more upside here than many fantasy managers believe. The Eagles want to be more pass-heavy–making AJB a 3rd round value.
Tyreek Hill- Miami Dolphins
I am lower on the Miami Dolphin’s offense than most in the fantasy community. I believe you will get ‘spike weeks’ from Tyreek Hill, but the consistency won’t be there the way it was in Kansas City.
TIER FOUR:
Keenan Allen- Los Angeles Chargers
Mike Williams- Los Angeles Chargers
We have Keenan Allen and Mike Williams listed back to back in our rankings. Keenan Allen receives the nod in PPR leagues, where Mike Williams gets the nod in 1/2 point.
DJ Moore- Carolina Panthers
Believe it or not, Baker Mayfield will be the best quarterback that DJ Moore has ever had. DJ Moore produces no matter who is under center. Selecting DJ Moore in the 4th round feels like a steal.
Marquis Brown- Arizona Cardinals
Drafting ‘Hollywood’ Brown isn’t for the fantasy football faint of heart. Brown has explosive weeks but can also disappear at times. Paired with his former college quarterback Kyler Murray improves the likelihood he will become a more consistent fantasy receiver.
Diontae Johnson- Pittsburgh Steelers
Diontae Johnson remains the primary cog in the Steeler’s passing game. The Steeler’s passing game can’t get worse than last year. Johnson feels like a steal at his current 4th round ADP.
Jaylen Waddle- Miami Dolphins
I mentioned earlier that I am not as high on the Miami Dolphin’s offense as others. Jaylen Waddle, in particular, take a back seat to Tyreek Hill. I will pass on Jaylen Waddle at his current ADP.
Michael Pittman Jr.- Indianapolis Colts
I like Michael Pittman Jr. I love his role in the Indianapolis Colts offense. Unfortunately, he feels a bit overpriced at the moment. I can’t justify using a 3rd round pick on Pittman Jr. If he were to slide into the 4th round range, now we’re talking.
THE BEST OF THE REST:

Courtland Sutton- Denver Broncos
Jerry Jeudy- Denver Broncos
Terry McLaurin- Washington Commanders
Gabriel Davis- Buffalo Bills
DK Metcalf- Seattle Seahawks

Allen Robinson II- Los Angeles Rams

Rashod Bateman- Baltimore Ravens

Brandin Cooks- Houston Texans
Amon-Ra St. Brown- Detroit Lions
Darnell Mooney- Chicago Bears
Chris Godwin- Tampa Bay Buccaneers
DeAndre Hopkins- Arizona Cardinals
Drake London- Atlanta Falcons
DeVonta Smith- Philadelphia Eagles
Amari Cooper- Cleveland Browns
Tyler Lockett- Seattle Seahawks
Michael Thomas- New Orleans Saints
Adam Thielen- Minnesota Vikings

Brandon Aiyuk- San Francisco 49ers
Christian Kirk- Jacksonville Jaguars
Hunter Renfrow- Las Vegas Raiders
Elijah Moore- New York Jets
Garrett Wilson- New York Jets
Kadarius Toney- New York Giants
Treylon Burks- Tennessee Titans
