The College Football Season is getting closer. With 20 days left until BYU kickoffs against South Florida let’s get to know some players on the roster for this upcoming season. This will give fans an idea of where these players have come from and what they could do for the cougars this season. I will do one every day there is a player with that number.
Jacob Boren
Today is Jacob Boren junior defensive back 5-9 180 lbs. Before coming to BYU Boren played for Highland High. He also served his mission in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2019 he played in one game and in 2020 also played in one game. Last season he played in all 13 games and had 20 tackles, one forced fumble, and two pass breakups.
Brayden Cosper
Today is Brayden Cosper junior wide receiver 6-3 205 lbs. Before coming to BYU he played for Bingham High and helped them to two state championships one as 5A and one as 6A. In 2019 he played in three games against USC, Utah and Washington. In 2020 he played in 10 games and started in one. He had 36 reception yards that year. Last season he missed due to injury.
