While fans are still waiting for the full NFL 2024 schedule release, we now already know who will have the hardest and easiest schedules based on last year’s records from the 2023 season.
There have already been some games that have leaked, on Tuesday, the NFL unveiled teh strength of schedule for all of the 32 teams. This is based on their opponents record and win percentage from last season.
Atlanta Falcons And New Orleans Saints Have Easiest Strength Of Schedule In The NFL
It should come as no surprise that the teams with easiest schedule are coming out of the NFC South, which was the worst division last year in the NFL based on winning percentages.
Both the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons are tied for the easiest schedule for this upcoming year. They both face teams that have combined .453 winning percentage last season. The NFC South has been a struggling division, especially since Matt Ryan, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees all left.
The Falcons have finished 7-10 in each of the last three seasons, and with the signing of Kirk Cousins, this team should be able to smoke a lot of the competition this year. The Saints on the other hand, went 9-8 but did not manage to get into the post season. The Saints are not looking up, even with their easy schedule.
Every team's strength of schedule for the season. 👀

Atlanta, Not New Orleans Will Take Advantage Of Easy Schedule
The Falcons have a lot of things going for them heading into the 2024 season, and first year head coach Raheem Morris has a real opportunity to take the league by storm and start building something strong this year. This off season has been a loud one for the team, but with the easiest schedule this year, they can really build some real momentum this season.
The team agreed to a monstrous four-year, $180 million deal with $100 million guaranteed in March and then went on to draft a quarterback in Michael Penix Jr. with their first pick of the 2024 draft. The team should be able to get over all of that and play some great football when the season comes.
When it comes to the hardest schedules in the NFL it is also no surprise that three out of the top four come from the AFC North, which had the best winning percentage of any division by far in the 2023 season. All teams in that division had a winning record and three of them made it to the post season.
