Aaron Rodgers is back with the Jets, and after suffering an Achilles injury, which he thought initially was the end of his career.
“I was really thinking, ‘This is it. You don’t come back from this injury.
Aaron Rodgers almost did come back for the 2023-24 season though, but he was shut down as the Jets failed to make the playoffs or have a chance late in the season.

Opening up against the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers is a very tough way to start your season, especially when your Star Quarterback is recovering from a season-ending Achilles injury.
NFL insider Mike Florio said on PFT Live that.
The truth is, the broadcast partners are clamoring for Aaron Rodgers.
The problem is they’re kicking the wheels off by having them hopscotch the country and play short weeks twice and all of these prime-time games.
There’s an extra layer of stress and strain that goes into all of these stand-alone games and all of this travel early in the season.
So they loaded it up early before the Jets have the wheels come off.
Weeks 5 to 7 are especially brutal for the Jets, as they play in London in Week 5 vs the Vikings, then host Buffalo in Week 6 in primetime, and then they travel to Pittsburgh for another primetime game vs the Steelers.
