The Vegas Vipers made a big splash by signing former Brett Hundley last week. The former NFL quarterback is the highest-paid player in the XFL reportedly signing a contract that will make him $200,000. So who is Brett Hundley? Let’s meet the new quarterback of the Vegas Vipers.
Who Is Brett Hundley?
Hundley was a fifth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers back in 2015. He played for three seasons there and started nine games going 3-6. He was then traded to Seattle for a sixth-round pick. From there, he bounced around practice squads. The Vipers are hoping Hundley can capture what he did in college. In his three seasons at UCLA, he passed for almost 10,000 yards while throwing for 75 touchdowns. He also rushed for another 30 touchdowns in his time as a Bruin. Hundley brings a dual threat to the Vipers behind center.
Vegas Vipers Receivers
Who is Brett Hundley going to be throwing to? The Vipers have a couple of wide receivers that fans of the NFL may notice. The first is former Packer Geronimo Allison. He played four seasons in Green Bay and caught six touchdown passes. The other name is one that many NFL fans will recognize. Former Pittsburgh Steeler Martavis Bryant is also on the team. He had a stellar rookie season but fell out of favor when he was suspended for a year.
