New York Giants Abdul Carter Makes Announcement After Getting Drafted

New York’s defense is going to look different up front in 2025 with Carter, Kayvon Thibodeaux, Dexter Lawrence, and Brian Burns. It could be one of the best defensive lines in the entire NFL. After the former Nittany Lions star drafted into the NFL, he made a critical announcement. Carter said,
“We’re going to be dominant. It’s going to be dope just getting to know those guys as a person, getting to know them as men and then getting closer as teammates. And then once we get on the field together, just wreak havoc.”
It will be interesting to see how well they all play together on the field. When the Giants won four Super Bowl titles, they always had an elite defensive front. This could be the new identity for New York moving forward.
In 16 games for Penn State during the 2024 college football season, he recorded 68 tackles, 12.0 sacks, and four pass deflections. Carter is always disrupting plays on defense. He is 6’3″ and weighs 259 lbs. One of the things that Giants fans will be looking forward to in 2025 is how disruptive the defensive front can be for them also.
