Green Bay Packers Injury Report
Green Bay has listed running back Aaron Jones (hamstring), tackle David Bakhtiari (knee), receiver Christian Watson (hamstring), cornerback Jaire Alexander (back), and linebacker Lukas Van Ness (elbow) as questionable for Sunday’s home opener.
The Packers have also ruled out safety Zayne Anderson (hamstring) and guard Elgton Jenkins (knee) against the Saints. Jenkins did not participate in practice this week after leaving in the first half of Week 2’s game in Atlanta. Anderson did not participate in practice on Thursday or Friday.
Linebacker Rashan Gary was not listed as questionable or out for the game. Gary (knee) was a limited participant this week in practice, but it seems like he will be available to play.
Jaire Alexander’s injury is a new one after being reported as a limited participant on Friday. Coach Matt LaFleur said his back has been acting up, and they will monitor to see his progress.
Aaron Jones returned to practice this week after suffering a hamstring injury at the end of his second touchdown in Chicago in Week 1. He was a limited participant on Friday.
New Orleans Saints Injury Report
The 2-0 New Orleans Saints are looking to continue their hot winning streak against the Packers (1-1) on Sunday.
Quarterback Taysom Hill (knee) is expected to play this week after two days of full participation this week. Safety Jordan Howden (finger) and running back Kendre Miller (hamstring) are also ones expected to be available to play. Cornerback Paulson Abedo did not participate in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable.
Safety Ugo Amadi (knee) was a limited participant in Thursday and Friday’s practices and has also been listed as questionable. Tight end Foster Moreau (ankle) is doubtful, and former Packers running back Jamaal Williams (hamstring) is officially listed as out.
