As promised, here is part two of week 14’s injury report. It’s a bit shorter than the first part but is just as important. Remember to set your lineups accordingly and bet responsibly. Part 1 was released yesterday. Check it out by clicking this link.
Lions @ Bears Injury Report
Detroit Lions
Frank Ragnow: Knee and toe injuries will keep Detroit’s starting center sidelined. This likely moves Graham Glasgow to center while Colby Sorsdal slides in at right guard. Sorsdal is a major downgrade from Glasgow in both run and pass protection. Expect Detroit to run more to the left side than the right this week.
Chicago Bears
No notable injuries.
Seahawks @ 49ers Injury Report
Seattle Seahawks
No notable injuries.
San Francisco 49ers
Arik Armstead: Foot and knee injuries will keep San Francisco’s star defensive lineman out. Expect Javon Kinlaw and Kevin Givens to see increases in playing time this week. Seattle’s offensive line has been below average to put it nicely. Even without Armstead, expect to see Geno Smith under significant pressure this week.
Spencer Burford: A knee injury has the 49ers’ right guard listed as doubtful. Burford has been average in run blocking and terrible in pass blocking. If he doesn’t play, backup Jon Feliciano may be an upgrade.
Vikings @ Raiders Injury Report
Minnesota Vikings
No notable injuries.
Las Vegas Raiders
Kolton Miller: A shoulder injury will sideline the Raiders’ best offensive lineman and perhaps their best offensive player. Thankfully they have a backup in Jermaine Eluemunor who’s a pretty good swing tackle. Still, expect to see a fair amount of pressure on Aidan O’Connell’s blindside from both Danielle Hunter and D.J. Wonnum.
Broncos @ Chargers Injury Report
Denver Broncos
No notable injuries.
Los Angeles Chargers
Deane Leonard: Los Angeles will be without their starting No. 2 cornerback Leonard, who’s recovering from ankle and heel injuries. Ja’sir Taylor, a below-average cornerback should start in his place. This gives a favorable matchup to Jerry Jeudy, who should be the 2nd leading receiver this week.
Bills @ Chiefs Injury Report
Buffalo Bills
No notable injuries.
Kansas City Chiefs
Isaiah Pacheco: A shoulder injury will hold out Kansas City’s starting running back. Andy Reid announced that Clyde Edwards-Helaire would be the starter this week. Even with all the injuries, Buffalo still has a tough run defense. I’d expect around 40-50 scrimmage yards for the Chiefs’ starting running back.
Donovan Smith: A neck injury will ensure the Chiefs’ starting left tackle doesn’t play. Wanya Morris will once again step in for the veteran. In his only real game action last week, Morris played pretty well. He’ll be in for a battle this week though, facing edge rushers like Leonard Floyd and Gregory Rousseau. Morris will hold his own but is still going to give up multiple pressures.
Bryan Cook: Cook, the Chiefs’ starting free safety will be out due to an ankle injury. He’s been an average to good safety, definitely better than backup Mike Edwards as of recently. With Edwards back in the lineup, I’d expect him to get burned deep by both Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis at least 2-3 times.
Drue Tranquill: The Chiefs will also be without one of their starting middle linebackers while he recovers from a concussion. Thankfully, they are getting Nick Bolton back this week. With how good Leo Chenal is playing, Kansas City’s defense should be able to hold up just fine.
Eagles @ Cowboys Injury Report
Philadelphia Eagles
No notable injuries.
Dallas Cowboys
No notable injuries.
