Week 13’s injury report is light, but there’s still plenty to know. Make sure to go over all these games before setting your fantasy lineup or placing any bets for Sunday. Every Sunday game is listed below!
Texans @ Broncos Injury Report
Dalton Shultz: A hamstring injury will keep Houston’s starting tight end sidelined this week. Schultz has been one of the better tight ends in the league, especially in the intermediate areas and red zone. Backup Brevin Jordan should get some play, but only has six catches on the year. Expect a larger target share for Nico Collins and Noah Brown.
Chargers @ Patriots Injury Report
Demario Douglas: Douglas has been the best receiver by far in New England. The rookie plays primarily in the slot, leading to easy short-yardage catches. Unfortunately, a concussion will hold him out of today’s game. Expect Bailey Zappe to struggle without his best receiver. Look for a larger target share for Hunter Henry, Mike Gesicki and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Lions @ Saints Injury Report
Alex Anzalone: A hand injury has Detroit’s best linebacker listed as doubtful for this week. Jack Campbell should be able to pick up the slack, but backup Malcolm Rodriguez could struggle with tackling the elusive Alvin Kamara. Expect worse open-field tackling from Detroit.
Raheed Shaheed: A thigh injury will sideline the Saints’ best deep threat this week. Shaheed has been unbelievably good on 20+ yard passes thrown his way. Without him in the game, expect Derek Carr to throw only 1-2 deep balls, likely to Chris Olave.
Marcus Maye: A shoulder injury will hold out the Saints’ starting strong safety. Maye has been a bit of a disappointment but is still a decent safety. At the end of the day, he’s still better than backup Jordan Howden, who’ll fill in for him this week. Expect worse mid-zone coverage this week, which should greatly benefit Amon-Ra St. Brown.
Pete Werner: Shoulder and oblique injuries will sideline one of the Saints’ starting linebackers. Werner has been graded as a solid tackler and is much better than any of their inexperienced backups. With Werner out, expect worse tackling against the run, especially when David Montgomery is the ball carrier.
Cardinals @ Steelers Injury Report
Michael Wilson: A shoulder will keep Arizona’s rookie receiver out this week. Wilson has been a solid target ever since Kyler Murray came back, although not as good as he was earlier this season. With his absence, expect a larger target share for Trey McBride, Marquise Brown, and Rondale Moore.
Antonio Hamilton Sr.: A groin injury will continue to sideline Arizona’s best-graded cornerback. With rookie Garrett Williams and Kei’Trel Clark starting Pittsburgh’s receivers should have a massive advantage. Look for both George Pickens and Diontae Johnson to have big games.
Colts @ Titans Injury Report
Jonathan Taylor: Indianapolis will be missing their star running back while he recovers from thumb surgery. In the meantime, the reliable Zach Moss will be starting. When Taylor was hurt earlier this year, Moss went for over 100 yards against Tennessee. With how run-based the Colts’ offense is, he should have similar production this week.
Juju Brents: The Colts’ will also be without their No. 1 cornerback again this week due to his quad injury. With Jaylon Jones covering DeAndre Hopkins, the latter should be in for a big game. He should be one of the few bright spots for Tennessee’s receivers.
Dolphins @ Commanders Injury Report
No notable players.
Falcons @ Jets Injury Report
No notable players.
Panthers @ Bucs Injury Report
Hayden Hurst/Tommy Tremble: A concussion and hip injuries will likely keep the first and second-best tight ends out for Carolina. Expect Ian Thomas to get the start this week and a larger target share for Adam Thielen and Jonathan Mingo.
Vonn Bell: A shoulder injury will sideline Carolina’s starting strong safety this week. Bell has been one of the more solid defensive players for the Panthers this year. With Alex Cook now starting, expect Baker Mayfield to be more aggressive when throwing into the mid and deep zones.
Lavonte David/Devin White: Groin and foot injuries will keep Tampa Bay’s best linebackers and defensive players sidelined. With K.J. Britt and SirVocea Dennis starting, expect much worse open-field tackling and midfield coverage. However, since the Panthers’ offense has been so bad, Tampa’s defense will do enough to not throw the game away.
Jamel Dean: Ankle and foot injuries will ensure Tampa’s best corner does not play. This will force Carlton Davis III to cover Adam Thielen, who should easily be able to do that. With how bad Carolina’s receivers are, Tampa’s backups will be able to match up well enough.
49ers @ Eagles Injury Report
Dallas Goedert: A forearm fracture has Goedert listed as doubtful for this week’s matchup. Backup Jack Stoll likely won’t be featured in the passing game again this week. Look for Devonta Smith to have a much larger target share, especially in the middle of the field if Goedert can’t suit up.
Zach Cunningham: A hamstring injury will keep the Eagles’ best linebacker out this week. It’s by far the weakest position on Philly’s defense. With Christian Elliss starting, expect them to struggle to tackle Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel.
Browns @ Rams Injury Report
Dorian Thompson-Robinson: A concussion will sideline Cleveland’s rookie quarterback. This brings Joe Flacco into the starting lineup, who’s entering an offense that fits him well. If they’re able to get the play-action game going, Flacco could do enough to secure a win for Cleveland.
Denzel Ward: A shoulder injury will again keep Cleveland’s best cornerback out. This moves Greg Newsome II over to Cooper Kupp and Martin Emerson to Puka Nakua. Both corners have been playing well as of late, the opposite of both Rams’ receivers. With the rest of Cleveland’s elite defense, they should be able to keep both star receivers for the Rams’ under wraps for the most part.
Quentin Lake: The Rams will be without their starting free safety while he recovers from a hamstring injury. John Johnson III played well in his absence last week and should continue to do the same against 38-year-old Joe Flacco.
Chiefs @ Packers Injury Report
Nick Bolton: A wrist injury will likely keep Bolton out one more week. Backup Leo Chenal has played extremely well in his absence. That won’t change this week against an average Packers offense.
Aaron Jones: A knee injury will continue to keep Jones out. A.J. Dillon will again assume starting responsibilities against an average-graded defense. Kansas City has a strong secondary, which could lead to at least 15 carries for Dillon this week.
Eric Stokes: Stokes is close to returning off IR, but will likely stay sidelined one more week while he gets his hamstring right. In the meantime, Carrington Valentine will be starting opposite Jaire Alexander. Valentine has struggled this season which should give the advantage to Justin Watson, who’s really been coming on as of late. Expect 4-5 targets for Watson.
