The Washington Commanders are expected to sign former Pro Bowl center Tyler Biadasz. One of the first moves of the Dan Quinn era will be to bring in a familiar face for the new coach. The deal is expected to cost the Commanders $30 million dollars over three years.
Biadasz to Bring Durability to the Washington Commanders
Tyler Biadasz has proven to be a reliable presence under center during his young career. Biadasz has started in more than 16 games in his last three seasons, posting an average snap count of 96%. Biadasz has also been great in pass protection only allowing four sacks since 2022.
After a season of poor offensive line play, the Commanders look to add to trenches in an effort to protect what most believe will be a rookie quarterback. Having a trustworthy offensive line is key for a young quarterback’s development. With Biadasz at center, the Commanders are taking the right steps toward establishing the trenches.
Expect the Commanders to bring in more former Cowboys under the Quinn regime.
