Dan Quinn and the Washington Commanders have signed former first-round pick Noah Igbinoghene, adding another piece to the defense.
Dan Quinn, head coach for the Washington Commanders, has been adding pieces from the Dallas Cowboys to help bolster his defense. Quinn was the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys for the past three seasons. Their latest addition is Noah Igbinoghene, a former first-round pick.
Noah was selected in the first round by the Miami Dolphins in 2020.He didn’t pan out like they hoped in Miami, so he was traded to the Cowboys. He spent his last year with Dallas primarily as a special teamer.
The Cowboys traded 2021 second-round pick Kelvin Joseph to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for 2020 first-round selection Noah Igbinoghene before the 2023 season.
Dallas Cowboys Additions
This adds to the list of names, leaving Dallas to join Quinn in Washington. Dallas has now signed.
The Commanders are signing Dallas Cowboys center Tyler Biadasz, defensive lineman Dorance Armstrong, and defensive end Dante Fowler Jr., all former Cowboys last year. Both additions should elevate their position groups for Washington.

Noah adds much-needed depth to a Washington that cleaned out roster spots upon Quinn’s arrival. The Washington defense has also added Bobby Wagner, Jeremy Chinn, Clelin Ferrell, and Anthony Pittman. These are all welcome additions to help elevate the play of the subpar Commander defense.
