The Washington Commanders finished with an 11-6 record this past season and made it to the NFC Championship Game before losing to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Commanders took a lot of strides this past season with quarterback Jayden Daniels as a rookie.

Washington will look to upgrade the wide receiver room this offseason to give Daniels more talent around him. One name to potentially watch for this offseason is Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp. There is a chance that the Rams decide to move on from him and also Matthew Stafford.
ESPN Reports That the Washington Commanders Could Trade For Los Angeles Rams Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp This Offseason

It is not a secret that Kupp is on the trade block and it is also not a secret that the Commanders are looking to improve this offseason. The Commanders are potentially looking at exploring a trade for the star wide receiver this offseason, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. Fowler said:
“Talking to people around the league, he [Kupp] will have a market because he’s so quarterback friendly … certainly Washington is looking for a complimentary No. 2 receiver.”
Kupp this past season caught 67 passes for 710 yards receiving and six touchdowns, along with averaging 10.6 yards per reception. He was also targeted 100 times. Cooper Kupp is 31 years old. He would be an interesting 1-2 punch with Terry McLaurin.
Fans React

High upside comes with Kupp. He’s had injuries the past few seasons but he’d be worth the pickup for a team looking to upgrade their WR room.

I think he would fit perfectly there. Obviously kupps best days are behind him but I think pairing up with Jayden Daniels could maybe light the fire again.

There are a lot of mixed reactions from fans about the Washington Commanders potentially making a move for the Los Angeles Rams star wide receiver in a trade this offseason. Washington won’t be the only one in contention for him because there will be other teams wanting to get him. This is because the Cincinnati Bengals plan on franchise-tagging Tee Higgins and it will shrink the market.
