Cooper Kupp, wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams will soon be traded to another team according to recent reports from the franchise. Eric Williams, Fox Sports reporter, recently discussed viable spots for Kupp and speculated that the Dallas Cowboys might indeed be on the lookout to add the 31-year-old wide receiver to their squad.
Kupp joined the Los Angeles Rams back in 2017 after being selected as the 69th pick in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In the 2024 NFL season, Kupp managed a total of 67 receptions for 719 yards, scoring six touchdowns.
“So where is the best spot for him to land? Keep an eye on the Cowboys, who have shown a willingness recently to deal for potential playmakers. Last year, they traded a fourth-round selection to the Carolina Panthers for developmental prospect Jonathan Mingo and a seventh-round pick. The year before that, Dallas traded a fourth-round pick to the San Francisco 49ers for quarterback Trey Lance.” Eric Williams, Fox Sports reporter recently said.
The Dallas Cowboys are truly seeking to bolster their squad after an unimpressive performance in the 2024 NFL season. The Cowboys finished third in the NFC East with seven wins and ten defeats. In their last game of the season, the Cowboys played against the Washington Commanders and lost the game with a final score of 23-19.

If wide receiver Cooper Kupp were to actually play for the Dallas Cowboys, he will do so under the new head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer was the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys in the previous season, and was recently promoted to head coach, in his first ever gig in this position.
Cooper Kupp’s Teammate, Matthew Stafford, Could Move To Minnesota Vikings
Meanwhile, Cooper Kupp is not the only Los Angeles Rams player who might be traded out. According to recent reports, the Rams might also trade out their star quarterback Matthew Stafford. If this does indeed happen, Stafford might soon find a home with the Minnesota Vikings for the next NFL season according to Jordan Dajani from CBS Sports.

While the Vikings do have Sam Darnold currently, the quarterback might ask for a better contract in his free agency, or might simply look for another team. In this case, Stafford presents a superb choice for Minnesota. In the 2024 NFL season, the Vikings finished second in the NFC North with 14 wins and three defeats.
