Yesterday, the Washington Commanders were the last team in the NFL yet to hire a head coach. Well, we no longer have to wait for this announcement. The Commanders have finally announced who their next head coach is going to be.
Washington Commanders Hiring Dan Quinn

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Washington Commanders are going to hire Dan Quinn to be their next head coach. This comes after having Ron Rivera in that position for the last four seasons. Now, Washington looks for the former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator to move them forward.
Dan Quinn’s Qualifications

So, what makes Dan Quinn the right man for the job? He is coming from a team very familiar with Washington. Quinn was the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys for the past three seasons.
Before that, Quinn spent six seasons as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. The most infamous game in his coaching career is likely Super Bowl LI. The Falcons blew a 28-3 lead to the New England Patriots during that Super Bowl.
However, Quinn won a Super Bowl as a defensive coordinator. He did this with the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl XLVIII.
Washington Commanders Moving Forward

The Commanders now have a new head coach and new general manager to work with. Considering they also have the second overall pick in the upcoming draft, there are certainly resources for Quinn and GM Adam Peters to work with. Now, they have to make the best of them.
