Before the artist who sang OMG got into the stage, National World’s Natalie Dixon reported that he went and tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend:
Usher was in Las Vegas on Sunday (February 11) for the Super Bowl where he was performing in the halftime show. According to People, Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea decided to get married before his performance and he was spotted wearing a gold band after the Super bowl performance.
A representative for Usher told People: “We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family.”
Fans who were enthralled with the 45-year-old singer’s unforgettable performance probably failed to notice the golden band he was wearing on his finger. It’s understandable as he had his left hand gloved the entire time, probably a tribute to Michael Jackson and his equally majestic halftime show.
But now that his publicist confirmed the news, ladies around the world might feel like they missed out on bagging a talented human being for themselves, but they will be happy for the man who’s entertained us with his talents for decades.
