Anthony Richardson’s Impact
The young quarterback took a hard fall in week two, causing him to eventually be taken out of the game to be evaluated for a concussion, which the tests came back positive. Richardson has already made a big impact on the Colts’ offense, throwing for 279 yards and a touchdown, which would have been much more if he was not taken out of the game.
The Colts’ have been searching for an answer at quarterback since Andrew Luck retired, and Richardson looks like he can be the guy. With talent and versatility supporting his game, he looks to put Indy back on the NFL map. However, this will only happen if he can remain healthy, which seems to be a struggle for now.
Will Richardson Play
With this injury taking him out of the week two matchup against the Texans, his status for week three is still in the air. Richardson is still questionable to play on Sunday, but it is unlikely he will make a return for the Colts’ matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. If the Colts want to have a chance to win against Lamar Jackson‘s team, they will need Richardson to play on Sunday. We will keep track of his status and give an update as soon as possible.
