Miami Dolphins wide receiver made the difficult decision about his Week 15 availability against the New York Jets. The star wide receiver injured his ankle during the Dolphins’ loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.
The Dolphins hinted that Hill could be inactive this week against the Jets. He missed practice this week. The Dolphins need Hill to be healthy for the playoffs, as the team has a legitimate shot of making a Super Bowl run this winter.
However, the Dolphins wanted Hill to make the decision to play against the Jets. Hill is in the running for the NFL MVP race, and, unfortunately, missing a game will make it harder for the wide receiver to win. Hill made a sobering decision Sunday morning during warmups.
Tyreek Hill is inactive in Week 15
According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Hill is choosing not to risk further injury to his ankle. He will be inactive against the Jets.
Sources: #Dolphins star WR Tyreek Hill (ankle) is inactive today. He tried to go, but it wasn't to be. RB De’Von Achane is active.
Both were listed as questionable.

That’s a mature decision by Hill. The Dolphins need him more in January than they do in their Week 15 contest against a hapless Jets team. Hopefully, NFL MVP voters consider Hill’s unselfishness by choosing to be inactive when they vote for the award later this season.
