Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said his hands will keep him from playing one game this week in the lead-up to Friday night’s Week 12 contest against the New York Jets. Hill had to leave the Dolphins game against the Las Vegas Raiders to go into the locker room to get his hand looked at.
Per a video from FinsXtra, Hill said he did receive an X-ray after heading into the locker room Sunday. Following the X-ray, the Dolphins’ medical staff taped up his hand, but Hill took the tape off because he knew he’d be unable to catch the ball when he returned to the Raiders game.
Miami Dolphins WR to miss one game…a video game
Reporters asked Hill if he would be ready to go against the Jets. Hill said he’d be able to play in Week 12, but his hands were messed up enough that he’d be unable to play the video game Fortnite:
“I think I’ll be fine man. The only thing I’m really bummed about I won’t be able to play Fortnite. So, it’s kinda the only thing I’m bummed about. I won’t be able to play video games.”

Hill said that would work out in his wife’s favor for their entertainment this week, as she wants to watch The Family Business.
Fortunately for Dolphins fans, Hill will miss out on only video games so he can play in their important AFC East matchup. However, it’s a little concerning Hill’s hands are injured to the point he can’t play video games.
We’ll see how Hill’s hands affect his play on Friday.
