Tyler Booker was recently drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as the 12th pick in the 2025 NFL draft and his girlfriend, Kalani, was super happy for him. Booker and Kalani have been together since their days at the University of Alabama and got engaged in 2022.
Booker, an offensive guard, last played for the Alabama Crimson Tide in his college football days from 2022 to 2024. With Booker entering the Dallas Cowboys locker room, the team’s offense will be bolstered for the next NFL season. In the previous season, the Cowboys finished third in the NFC East after winning seven games and losing ten. The Cowboys played their very last game against the Washington Commanders, losing 23-19.

Tyler Booker, according to leading NFL experts, may not be the best apple of the lot, but is still the right pick for the Dallas Cowboys. What was surprising for draft followers was that while Booker was easily picked without any hesitation, a talented quarterback like Shedeur Sanders was left out of the first round of the draft.

Tyler Booker being selected by the Dallas Cowboys has rubbed many fans the wrong way. After it was announced officially that Booker will be joining the Cowboys in the upcoming NFL season, many fans took to social media to bash the team’s owner, Jerry Jones.
Jones is definitely not an easy-going team owner/general manager and prefers to do everything in his own style. Certain users called for Jerry Jones’ resignation, while some echoed for Jones to simply sell the team.

Meanwhile, it seems like Tyler Booker actually manifested his way to the Dallas Cowboys. In speaking with reporters after his draft selection, Booker mentioned thinking that it would be great to someday play for the Dallas Cowboys while training in their facilities. Booker went on to comment that, “The Lord works in mysterious ways”. Booker is expected to be an excellent addition for the Cowboys roster by numerous NFL analysts and sports pundits.
