Trevor Lawrence’s status drastically changed Saturday afternoon for his odds to play for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Christmas Eve. Lawrence suffered a concussion against the Baltimore Ravens on the Jaguars’ final possession of the game.
The Jaguars listed Lawrence as questionable to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16. As of Friday, Lawrence had not passed all phases of the concussion protocol.That changed on Saturday.

According to Ian Rapoport with the NFL Network, Lawrence will travel with the Jaguars to Tampa Bay after passing all concussion protocol phases. The Jaguars need their best quarterback to play against a suddenly hot Buccaneers team in Week 16. The Jaguars have an 8-6 record after losing three straight games and are tied with the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts for the lead in the AFC South.
