Travis Kelce did not like the theories that his brother Jason was spouting on their recent New Heights podcast. Specifically, Jason had some interesting takes about Taylor Swift and her impact on the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jason Kelce Thinks Taylor Swift Is a Real Good Luck Charm
On the new episode of the Kelce Brothers podcast, they had the legendary actor Bill Murray join them. Murray made a joke when referring to his old improv teacher saying she was:
“one of those ladies that has like cats and everything she wears is purple.”
Jason replied to that poking some fun at the Swift fans saying:
“There’s a lot of them listening to the show right actually.”
That already sparked a bit of an issue with Travis already, but then later in the show, Jason pushed the jokes even further. He joked that just Swift’s presence at the Chiefs games has helped them win these wild games with crazy endings. He laughed saying:
“I kind of feel like you guys are the ‘Angels in the Outfield,’ there’s some unknown,” Jason said before being cut off by Travis.
While it was for sure just a joke, Travis did not want to hear any of those conspiracy theories that have actually been building on social media. Many believe that Swift may have something to do with the Chiefs getting quite lucky in so many of their one-score games this year, but Travis did not want to hear any of that:
“Here you go with this [expletive] Tayvoodoo [expletive],” Travis replied. “This dude’s such a [expletive].”
To be fair to Jason, Tayvoodoo has been somewhat of a real thing for quite a long time now, as many Swift fans will know. When Taylor dates someone, they have incredible Karma for some reason when it comes to many different areas in life. Upon breaking up, the exes of Swift have not done so well, and all of this has built this Tayvoodoo theory for a long time.
Even though there is no way to know if any of that is real, what ids certain is that the Chiefs have been getting tons of miraculous wins this year. They always seem to find a way to win on crucial plays at the end of games on both sides of the ball.
The luck has been all throughout the season since their first game, and it has been spoken about at length. We will have to see if the ‘Tayvoodoo’ helps the Chiefs in the playoffs. They have certainly benefitted from incredible calls and no calls at the end of games, and if they get the same treatment by the refs in the postseason they should be right in line to get their third straight Super Bowl.
