Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle suffered a knee injury in last week’s matchup against the Houston Texans. Miami is 6-8 this season and has a slim chance to make the playoffs.
Waddle this season has caught 54 passes for 700 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 13.0 yards per reception. This weekend, Miami will face the San Francisco 49ers (6-8).
Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver Jaylen Waddle Injury Update Against the San Francisco 49ers
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he reported on Friday that the Dolphins have listed Waddle as doubtful against the 49ers this weekend. This is not good news for Miami in a game they have to win. The Dolphins have been having injury issues this season.
They will need a lot of help to get into playoffs. If they were to lose to San Francisco this weekend, the Dolphins would have to wait another year to make it to the playoffs.
Fans React To Injury
Tough break for the Dolphins. Jaylen Waddle being listed as doubtful is a significant blow, especially against a strong San Francisco team. Hopefully, he recovers quickly—his impact on the field is hard to replace!

Malik Washington is a Top-20 WR this week and I could EASILY see him having a monster role with Waddle out and OBJ gone!

Tough break for the Dolphins if Waddle can’t go. His presence will definitely be missed against a tough San Francisco team. Hope he recovers soon!

With Waddle being out, it could mean that Tyreek Hill could have a big game for the Dolphins this weekend. Also, it will be intriguing to see who else will step up this weekend for Miami.
