Tom Brady is officially entering the next chapter of his NFL career, and former Dallas Cowboys star Tony Romo couldn’t help but be excited of what’s to come.

Brady is now gearing up to be the top analyst at FOX Sports, and Romo expects nothing but big things for the legendary quarterback when he gets started.

In an interview with The Athletic, Romo revealed that he often talks to Brady about football and life after retirement. The ex-Cowboys QB then shared his belief that TB12 will be a great analyst and commentator for FOX Sports given his work ethic and desire to always be the best.

His incredible football knowledge aside, Brady is certainly going to be must-watch TV as fans look forward to how he will be as a media personality.

“I’m excited for him. Tom will exhaust every resource to be as good at this as anybody. I think me and him have similar traits in that we’re going to try and work as hard as humanly possible to be as good as we can be at anything that we care about,” Romo said of Brady.

“He’s doing that. I think it was a genius decision by him to wait a year coming out and prepare himself. He’s going to do a great job. I think he’s going to be outstanding.”

For what it’s worth, Brady has really been preparing well for his broadcasting career. For those who has constantly followed him, they would know that the seven-time Super Bowl champion has his own podcast called “Let’s Go!” where he has been sharing football stories and commentaries for some time now.

With that being said, transitioning to FOX shouldn’t be a big adjustment for him. Not to mention that he’s used to the spotlight anyway.

Tom Brady signed a massive 10-year, $375 million contract with FOX to be its top analyst. He will be replacing Greg Olsen in the network.

The wait for Brady’s broadcasting career shouldn’t be too long either, as he is expected to start in the 2024 NFL season.

In a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Brady addressed the start of his new career and promised to do his “best” as he shares his own perspective on the game.

“I’m going to go in there and do the best I can do with my own perspective. I’ve certainly had a unique vision and perspective of the game in 23 years. Hopefully, I can provide some insight to all the viewers and fans who love the game,” Brady explained.

Sure enough, 2024 couldn’t come sooner.
