It is no secret that the Browns need some help at the defensive tackle position. The Browns did get a little help in that position by selecting Perrion Winfrey in the 2022 NFL Draft. Many believe however they can still improve.
Ndamukong Suh to Cleveland?
One of the names that people bring up is Ndamukong Suh. While he is 35 years old, many believe he can produce for the Browns. Suh is not only effective vs. the run, but he can also be a great pass rusher along with guys like Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney. Just this past year, Suh recorded six sacks and seven tackles for losses. Even though the number of tackles he’s had this past season is lower than last season with 27 tackles to 44 in 2020, he can obviously still produce.
Durability is important for Cleveland:
Something else about Ndamukong Suh is that he is incredibly reliable. Over the course of his 12-year career, he has only missed two games. And the two games he missed aren’t even because of an injury. In 2011, Suh was suspended for two games after he appeared to kick a player on the Green Bay Packers. Ndamukong Suh was linked to the Browns in the past, but there was a report that they may have stopped chasing him.

In conclusion:
Ndamukong Suh should be in heavy consideration for Cleveland. His ability to Immediately impact one of the weaker spots on the Browns’ defense would be huge. These are the type of signings that matter in December and January.
