The Texas Longhorns and Michael Taaffe remember what happened last year when they faced the Oklahoma Sooners. They lost the game against Oklahoma 34-30 and it was the Longhorns’ only loss in BIG12 Conference play.
This season, they are both in the SEC Conference for the first time. Texas is favored by double digits over Oklahoma. Many people think this has the potential to be a blowout.
Texas Longhorns Michael Taaffe Comments On Oklahoma Sooners Danny Stutsman Shirt
After the Longhorns lost to the Sooners last season, Sooners linebacker Danny Stutsman created a shirt that went viral and said:
That is a very interesting shirt since the Longhorns have struggled lately against the Sooners, but a lot can change this season. Taaffe told the media earlier this week about the shirts that were made last season:
“It’s a new season. We’ve got a whole new team. I’m not too focused on what they did last year, what we did last year. But I do remember everything.”
The Texas Longhorns are going to use this as fuel to try and beat the Oklahoma Sooners in a dominating fashion. It will be interesting to see how Michael Taaffe and the Longhorn’s defense plays against the Sooners’ offense.

So he is focused on what they did last year if he’s actively forcing himself to remember it. Played himself.

Quinn Ewers will be the starting quarterback over Arch Manning this weekend against the Sooners. It will be interesting to see if the Longhorns can avoid the upset as the number one team in the nation against Oklahoma after what happened last weekend in college football.
