Per a TMZ report, a former Kansas City Chiefs player was arrested on two charges Tuesday night and booked into a jail in Arizona. The story is developing, and not much information is available regarding what led up to the arrest.
TMZ Report: Terrell Suggs was arrested
According to TMZ, former Baltimore Ravens 2003 first-round pick Terrell Suggs was booked into a jail in Maricopa County on two alleged charges. Suggs was charged with one count of assault and one count of offense against public order. Per the report, not much else is known:
Details surrounding Terrell Suggs‘ arrest are still scarce … although a spokesperson for the Scottsdale Police Dept. — which made the arrest Tuesday — said it all stemmed from an incident that was reported to authorities back on March 10.
Suggs won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs
Suggs had a highly successful career in the NFL. He won Super Bowl XLVII with the Ravens and Super Bowl LIV with the Chiefs. He earned seven Pro Bowl nominations and was named an All-Pro twice. Suggs last played in the NFL during the 2019 season.
In his 17-year NFL career, Suggs recorded 886 tackles, 49 forced fumbles, seven interceptions, and 139 sacks.
