Independent country singer Megan Moroney is known for her new single “Tennessee Orange.” During her appearance on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Tuesday, Moroney made some conflicting comments.
For those who had no idea about the song “Tennessee Orange,” it is a song about Moroney, a Georgian native who attended the University Of Georgia, who falls for a Tennessee fan. She notes on “The Paul Finebaum” Show that wearing Tennessee orange is regarded as a sin in the state of Georgia. However, please don’t get upset again, Georgia fans; Moroney clarified her allegiance.
When Finebaum asked whether she was still a fan of Georgia, Moroney answered, “Oh yeah. I plan on going to the Tennessee-Georgia game, and I will be in Georgia red.” Moroney continued that she “will not be wearing Tennessee orange in Athens.”
