Taylor Swift has apparently penned a certain song lyric for her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, which was recently discovered by her fans. Travis Kelce discussed the different R-rated movies that he watched as a kid on the latest episode of his podcast ‘New Heights’.
Apparently, one of the most memorable R-rated movies that Kelce watched as a kid was none other than ‘American Pie’. Swifties immediately picked up on this and correlated it with one of Taylor Swift’s songs, ‘So High School’, where one line says “I’m watching American Pie with you on a Saturday night.”
“The one I remember watching that I didn’t even realize was rated R was ‘American Pie,’ and that was when we were, like, 10. I feel like I had to have watched a couple before that. I was just f–king going to the movies. I forget how I got in. I might have been there with someone else’s parents.” Travis Kelce said to his brother and co-host Jason Kelce on the ‘New Heights’ podcast.
However, there is no confirmation as to whether Taylor Swift actually wrote those lyrics as a tribute to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. At the same time, the song is part of ‘The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology’ album, of which several songs have references to Travis Kelce.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been together since 2023, with Kelce having pursued her at a concert. Since then, Swift has been spotted in a number of Kelce’s games for the Kansas City Chiefs. In the 2024 NFL season, Swift and Kelce’s relationship was given plenty of importance by the media, much to the delight of the pop singer’s Swifties.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and her longtime boyfriend Travis Kelce have been keeping it low-key after the Super Bowl earlier this year. The two are reportedly taking time away from the public eye to focus and rebuild their relationship.
While Swift and Kelce do indeed share a strong bond with each other, their relationship was heavily scrutinized by the media in the 2024 NFL season. Kelce even blamed his abysmal performance during the previous season on his heavily publicized relationship with Taylor Swift.
In their downtime, the pop-singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end have also been looking at homes to settle down in. According to sources close to the couple, Montana seems like a favorite spot for both the celebs.
