Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ RB1, has lead what has otherwise been a non-existent rushing attack for the 4-6 team who are somehow still well in contention for the NFC South. Having struggled with a knee injury, the Bucs feared that White may well not be able to play on Sunday at the 5-5 Indianapolis Colts.
Yet, positive news has surfaced from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ camp, and it seems like Rachaad White may well suit up after all, per Jeremy Fowler.
#Bucs running back Rachaad White (questionable, knee) is expected to play Sunday vs. Colts, per source.
White was a late-week addition to the injury report.

How Will This Impact The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Offence?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had another mediocre season after going 8-9 with Tom Brady and getting blown out by the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round in 2022. At this point in the season, Bucs fans may take that in a heartbeat, knowing that at least it would result in a third consecutive NFC South Championship, as the team struggles under excellent defensive mind but unconvincing head coach, Todd Bowles.
Having Rachaad White back goes along way to assuage the Buccaneers’ issues at running back. Even with just 459 yards in 10 games this season, White is by far the team’s leading rusher, with not exactly dual-threat quarterback, Baker Mayfield second with 139 yards. In fact, the next most rushing yards from a Bucs running back after White is 2020 3rd round pick, Ke’Shawn Vaughn, who has a mere 42 – despite some big words from other backs prior to the season.
In a game that is expected to be reasonably close – the Indianapolis Colts are 2.5 point favourites, having the only trustworthy running back on your roster is a serious boon to this otherwise pass-happy Tampa Bay offence.
