Buffalo Bills fans were stunned by breaking reports on Wednesday morning that star wide receiver Stefon Diggs had been traded to the Houston Texans in exchange for draft capital. The trade will upend one of the league’s most important passing duos, the Josh Allen-to-Diggs connection.
Stefon Diggs helped Josh Allen’s career

It’s easy to see why the Houston Texans targeted Stefon Diggs after his standout stint with the Buffalo Bills where he was a favorite target of quarterback Josh Allen and one of the most dangerous deep-threats in the sport.
Meanwhile, Allen posted a prolific 95.5 passer rating when targeting Diggs, and that sort of consistency could significantly hasten Stroud’s continued development.
Through his first nine seasons, with the Bills and Minnesota Vikings, Diggs has caught 810 passes for 9,995 yards and 67 career touchdowns.

There were rumblings of discontent between Diggs’ camp and the Bills for a couple of seasons. However, most fans didn’t want to consider that a trade would come for Diggs. Bills fans were upset when they learned Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick, and a 2025 fifth-round pick was traded in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick.
