Shedeur Sanders’ rookie season has been eventful so far to say the least. The 23-year-old finally fell into the lap of the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round. Now he’s competing in a loaded quarterback room with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Dillon Gabriel, and himself.
However, it’s clear that Sanders isn’t letting outside noise get to him.
“I’m Not Here For That” Shedeur Sanders Claps Back At Reporter After Asking Insane Question

After practice on Tuesday, Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders refused to speak about his dad’s health:
The former Colorado star might not feel all that great, given that his dad has had to leave Boulder amid his team’s camp due to unspecified health issues, per reports. The Buffaloes head coach is not in the best of health at the moment, although his eldest son, Deion Sanders Jr., recently claimed that he was feeling well and resting up as of Sunday.
Primetime has also been somewhat active on social media over the last two days
With Shedeur facing the media on Tuesday, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com tried sneaking in a question regarding Deion’s health, but the Browns QB expertly swatted it away, pointing out that he was there on team business and not to talk about his father.

“I don’t know what’s going on,” he said. “I’m here not to talk about Pops and them, I’m here as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns.”
Here is is the full video:
Mary Kay Cabot tried it. Slid in a question about Prime’s health, hoping Shedeur would slip. He didn’t even blink. Kept it pro — talked QB growth, being a dawg for his team, and owning that playbook. Media fishing, but Shedeur ain’t biting. 🎣#ShedeurSanders #DawgPound #NFL pic.twitter.com/4BlJBTn08Y

Deion Sanders is at his Texas residence at the moment. He was scheduled to be a keynote speaker at an event in Florida over the weekend, but could not make it, with former NBA star Earvin “Magic” Johnson slotting in as a replacement.
Sanders Jr. did suggest that his father would disclose whatever he’s dealing with on his own time.
